Optimo 1001 HD - for trucks

The OPTIMO 1001 HD is Laser-based and battery operated, using normal-size batteries, AA-type. Each projector emits two laser-beams, one for Toe-in and one rear beam, which is used for centering the steering wheel, and rear axle alignment.

Camber, Caster and KPI (SAI), is measured by a very accurate spirit level. The readings are taken from handwheels with precise scales. With the OPTIMO 1001 HD it is possible to measure Total Toe-in and Toe-in for each wheel, the Camber angle for both wheel as well as the centering of the steering wheel in one operation. Caster and KPI angles are also measured in just one operation by making a Caster swing of 20° using the scales on the turntable.

The standard equipment includes turntables which rolls on bearings with poly-acetal balls. The turntables do not require lubrication. With scales for measuring the turning angle, Toe-out on turns and Max. turning angle. The OPTIMO 1001 HD is delivered as a complete set, including all equipment used for measurement of the truck. Can also be delivered with trailer- and toweye alignment bar.

Optimo 1001 Laser Wheel Aligner - for vans and cars (12" - 19" wheels)

The Optimo 1001 laser wheel aligner is a complete alignment system, extremely easy to operate and providing exact and fast wheel alignment of front and rear wheels. Toe-in/Toe-out, Set-back, centring of the steering wheel and Camber are measured in only one operation. Caster, King Pin Inclination (SAI) and Toeout on turns are measured at the same time by turning the wheel 20° in and out. Toe-in/Toe-out and Camber of the rear wheels are measured in one operation only. Readings can be taken under any light conditions. Due to the battery power system alignment can be performed indoors or outdoors on a level ground.

The OPTIMO 1001 is Laser based and battery operated, using normal type batteries, 1.5 V size AA. Each measuring head projects two laser-beams, one transverse for toe measuring and one longitudinal for centre line steering and rear wheel alignment. Camber, Caster and King Pin Inclination (SAI) are measured by a very accurate spirit level. The readings are taken on big dials with precise scales. Toe-out on turns is read direct on the scale of the sturdy turntables. They work to perfection, and even heavy loads are easily absorbed by the big thrust bearings with elastic nylon balls. Self-centring wheel clamps secure perfect grip on steel and alloy rims. Build-in 3-point run-out compensator. Centre line scales with wheel hanger, brake pedal depressor, steering wheel holder and calibration tool are included. With the calibration tool, the measuring system can easily be checked and adjusted to assure correct alignment readings.
